GET UP! with the all-new RS10-55 and RS12-42 Telescopic Handlers

These two new models, the RS10-55 and RS12-42, add increased lift capacity and extended lift heights to the RS Series product line.

Strong and maneuverable, these units have it all. With lift heights ranging from 19'1" on the RS5-19 to 55'1" on the RS10-55, the RS Series has a machine for every application.

For those jobs that require heavy lifting, the RS12-42 can handle up to 12,000 pounds.

RS SERIES FEATURE:

• Strong booms – Robust, heavy-duty booms with capacities from 5,500 lbs. on the RS5-19 all the way up to 12,000 lbs. on the RS12-42

SPACIOUS ROPS/FOPS CAB

The RS Series have spacious, modern operator stations that provide pilot-assisted controls that are easy-to-reach and easy-to-operate, optimizing operator productivity and precision. The view from the cab is a full 360°. A storage box is located under the seat. A suspension seat is optional.

TIGHTER TURNING RADIUS

The RS Series machines are unsurpassed when it comes to stability and maneuverability in tight jobsites, because of their tight turning radius and low overall height. The turning radius on the RS5-19 is 11', RS6-34 is 12'6", RS6-42 13'8" and13'8" on the RS8-42 and RS8-44. A rear-axle stabilization cylinder has been incorporated for added safety.

SAHR PARKING BRAKE

An SAHR (Spring-Applied, Hydraulic-Released) parking brake located in the front axle is standard equipment. The brake applies automatically when the engine shuts off, or by simply pressing the rocker switch. This new design eliminates cable stretch and adjustments associated with other telescopic handlers.

PERSONNEL WORK PLATFORM SAFETY SYSTEM

The patented Gehl Personnel Work Platform (PWP) Safety System is now optional. It allows the use ofANSI/ ITSDF B56.6-compliant work platforms, which are commonly used by framers and roofing contractors. The PWP Safety System adds more versatility to the telescopic handler, making jobs almost as easy as working at ground level.

REMOTE BOOM CONTROL SYSTEM

Productivity made simple.

Never again will an operator have to rely on another crew member to get him into position at the jobsite. With the remote boom control system from Gehl, a single operator can control boom extension, retraction and height – from outside the cab . When placing loads, a single operator can leave the cab and control boom functions from a location with better visibility – even from within a building!

• Controls boom functions and engine power-up and shut-down from outside the cab, including from within a work platform
• Includes all the safety functions of the Gehl-exclusive, patented Personnel Work Platform (PWP) System
• Wireless remote control with FHSS (frequency-hopping spread-spectrum) technology that concentrates a signal into a narrow frequency band and randomly changes frequencies to prevent signal errors
• Can be used with any approved Dynattach   carriage attachment and compatible with any ANSI/ASME-compliant work platform
